KOR 6mm stroker crank !!!!!!

so just like a long rod?

Some strokers retain their stock conrods, the extra displacement comes from the big end of the rod being further offset from the centerline of the crankshaft..
Not sure what the standard offset is on a blaster crank but I reckon 6.5mm is a big change!!

Awaiting the results of this project eagerly :D

i knew there use to be a 265 kit out there, years ago. it would be nice to have a 265 blaster, no doubt. especially if it was the current CT sonic cylinder design. thing would scream.

also, it isn't actually mentioned but is the bore staying at 66mm?

sure is, maybe 1 overbore to insure she's fresh, this is just for testing the stroker alone without any added cc's

How is this being done? WOW!
I bet I could do this at home. I just need to know how its being done. Will he be selling the cranks? Is material being added to the case? How "thin"
(off set ground) is the connecting rod big end?
So in effect, this stroker crank in conjunction with a "Big Bore" piston could perhaps net 300cc?

Stock cranks are high quality! I like that. Thats half the battle.

back in the day, there was 265 and 280cc models using a +6 crank, i believe that was based on max bore of the 240 cylinder ?

There goes my +3 vitos and long rod setup! Wow I'll actually get to see what it could do before I choose! NICE! subscribed!

I did a bunch of math and prints today. Looks like we’ll be doing a 6mm stroke and not the 6.5 as advertised. The problem lies in the cylinder, not the crankshaft. I don’t want to use a spacer plate and it really wouldn’t make sense. The stroked crank will work but it’s going to be right on the edge. The top ring is going to end up .028” below the top of the cylinder. The edge of the piston is going to be sticking out of the cylinder .100”. According to the graphs and prints I made today we can make this work. The biggest problem is going to be the transfer port duration. When you do the math and drop the ports to BDC, the duration is way too big. We’re going to have to stuff the top of the ports with filler or get a custom sleeve to make it work. I’m not concerned. Pics of the crank tomorrow.

I ended up shooting a vid yesterday. We got both webs bored and stroked, made the bushings and installed them in the webs. The rod is on the way from Vitos. I’ll post the vid when we finish the crank.

Cant wait to see the vid(s) Ken, I've watched your porting and engine assembly vids and they're great very informative. Helped me put my blaster engine back together, I think I went back to your videos a dozen times or better. I have to say from my personal experience Ken is an outstanding guy, I called his shop up never having purchased anything from him yet. I talked to him about some trouble I was having with my freshly rebuilt blaster, and he talked with me on the phone for a solid 15mins or more which got it up and running correctly. So once again thanks Ken for all that you've done for me and others on blasterforums. I cant wait to send you a cylinder and head after I get my taxes, Aggressive Trail Port here we come!

WHOAA! just got a flag while typing this up, looks like im headed back out on the ice to hopefully pull up a lunker that barely fits through the hole.
