2005 Blaster Rebuild

I am still hunting and gathering, or as AWK would say "Raping and Pillaging", off the $350 Blaster. I put the Razr's and Rims on, along with the front bumper. I'm so happy that I'm finally getting this thing to look like I want.

About All I have left to get is ASR+3 +1's, +3 swinger, some sort of a better rear shock, an Aggressive Trail port, and Re-configured head. I hope I'm all done by spring when it starts warming back up.

Thanks for catching that Wifes. I just put my 4' t-square down an its 1 3/4" narrower in the front. I might have to take off my rear wheel spacers. These rims must have some sort of offset in them.

Looks like the rear rims are 3+5 offset. You should be able to flip the rears or flip the fronts. I would flip the fronts if your valve stems will clear the calipers. If not just flip the rears and you'll be good.

I couldn't resist. I took it for a spin down over the hill and across the strip mines. I never realized how bad the stock front shocks really were untill they were gone. Where I normally bounce all around on the strips, I pretty much just glided across. The rear is still a bit jumpy, but thats getting taken care of soon. I saw a guy on a UTV on the strips, he said my quad looks nice. That made me feel awesome! I can't wait to get it finished and start riding regularly again in the spring.

I talked with Ken O'connor this morning about the porting and head mod I won. This bikes journey to being complete is getting closer I:I Thanks Ken, You have helped make my Dream of having a good solid Blaster that much closer. I can thank you 1000 times and it still isn't enough. But once again THANK YOU!!!

I pulled the Motor tonight, and got everything ready to ship tomorrow night after I get off work. I keep walking in and out of the garage and Its funny seeing The Blue Flagship a roller!!

Awesome! You will be more than happy when you get it back together. It will be like going from a riding lawn mower to a top fuel dragster! Maybe not that drastic, but you get the idea.

My top end is in the mailI:I While I have everythng apart I finally changed the clutch cover gasket today. I also polished the Yamaha circle on the cover. I went and touched up a few rust spots on my frame also.
