Id like to know what pipe this is on the left? It has no identfying marks?.. it and the muffler that came on the bike look very old. I bought the quad from a guy who didnt know alot about it really, it was his sons quad and had since got a older yfz450. Got it for a steal, and on the test ride it ran really well, but it had gobs of top end and really came alive in the upper rpms, much more then most the blasters ive ridden with fmf kits on them. The pipe on the right is a older fmf gold series that came on another blaster i picked up for refrence. Any input would be much appreciated

The one in question looks a lot like my bills pipe I have on my 01 blaster and with that pipe and a pro circuit 304 silencer that thing lifts every gear. I’ll post a picture shortly

I looked through about 100 pictures of old production blaster pipes and it looked like a bill's, does yours have any markings? Idk what the silencer is though.. it looks like a vintage aluminum cr500 pipe hah and someone put a fmf sticker on it.

Yea mine has a bills i guess plaque that was spot welded on. I completely forgot the picture but I’m working on it right now so I’ll upload the exhaust pics

It’s to skinny to be stock but with no markings idk. Only thing I can think of is a bills where it’s not stamped but the four corners on the plaque are spot welded. Is there a spot where it looks like something might have been welded on?

Actaually it is the FMF
How many springs attach it to the exhaust manifold? Mine only uses one spring on the top. That looks identical down to the bracket on the top. The bills is very similar to a toomey b1, and looking at the 96 pipe shootout, my silencer is deffinetly a older fmf powercore pipe, they even used the sticker just like mine back then hah

Well its not the bills either after looking your pics over, the stampings are diffrent and yours develops the chamber a lil before mine, and way before a fmf. This is why theese pipes come on so strong in upper rpms, and also why the fmf has sucha broad low/mid power band but lack up top. I bet that bills is perfect for my riding style

I love the bills header with the pro circuit 304 silencer on it. It’s got a mild bottom end but man mid range has super strong torque and transitions fast and 3/4-full it still keeps pulling I love it. It’s definitely setup for fast trails and doesn’t like lugging around at all lol. I do have a torque spacer to put between the reed cage and cylinder and I got a sprocket 2 teeth bigger if I want more low but I love it

I bet! Ive ridden and raced 2 stroke dirtbikes my whole life and prefer a bike that can rev out higher and not fall off. This mystery pipe i have acts very similar to that bills and it fits my riding style. My wifes blaster is currently running a pwk28 with a uni 2 stage filter and a much newer style fmf gold/power core combo wich is perfect for less agressive rider but can still get up when it needs too. But im with you, i bet with a good port job/carb that bills would eat out at the dunes! Ive always been a fan of bills pipes! On the blaster there design reminds me of the toomey b1 wich is a shredder of a left bend top end pipe.
