2003 Husaberg 450, yup, it is a 2003 450. It was a pre-production model and awaits resurrection

I dig your taste in toys sir!!!

But i gotta know wtf you found an SVO running let alone that condition?Thats one of the most desired fox body and the sh*tty thing is they only ran from 84 1/2-86 1/2.Ive found a few but most were so ragged out it wasnt worth it.

I also love the turbo coupes those are fun as hell with a cheap set of dirt tires and a 20$ boost mod as long as you got the 5sp lol.

Nice toys bro!

Well i forgot to mention i guess, i have an 01 arctic cat 250 2X4 that we use for garden work and brush mowing. I also have a 97 arctic cat jag 340 with a blown engine...haha.

I believe that picture is of my 84 SVO. It was one of the first 50 made and had the traction bars instead of the quad shocks, no A/C, bare base car. It was very quick, only mod I ever did to it was up the boost to 18psi and it came with no cats. I get my tires for free so I ran Michelin Pilots of BFGs on it. It would easily smoke a stockish 5.0L in a drag but it was interesting racing them. The turbo would get a big jump on a 5.0L on take off from better traction, but would slowly loose a car length or two in 1st and 2nd gear. A quick shift into 3rd at about 50mph without letting off the gas and the game would be over. The turbo car would shoot past the 5.0L like a rocket and there was no catching it. Speed was its forte.

A beautiful 86 came up for sale with A/C and all the goodies, so I sold the 84. The 86 is heavier and not as strong an engine (I know the books say it is 10hp more then the 84, but don't believe it) . I can't find a picture of the 86, but here is the engine compartment:

It is sitting in the garage next to all the Blasters and bikes, you may see it in some of our garage picts.

It is funny that at one time I had a 92 Crown Vic police car in the yard too and my son asked me "which is faster dad, a V8 or a 4 cylinder?". Without thinking I told him "A V8". "Doesn't feel like it" he said.

The SuperCoupe is an amazing car too. Slow reving, it makes amazing torque and speed. Top speed with few mods (port matching, pulley) is over 260kph (160mph) at only 5000rpm. Very complicated engine with over 8 feet of ducting from air filter to supercharger to intercooler to engine. I rebuild a friend's LS6 454 and later he came over as I was port matching all the cast aluminum intercooler ductwork and manifolds. The LS6 was bone simple in comparison. "Looks like a lot of complication for half the horsepower" he wryly commented...
