lol i want to say it was like $200 for me to replace the stator. but this was back in 03.

but for a 450, it looks like you can pick them up for a 100 pounds.

you will need to take the flywheel off, that is the only hard part of this whole thing.

the troublr is i have no manual ahahaha i know lol the ones you download dont seem to have torque specs or anything? the blaster one i had , had evertything

you will need a flywheel puller, not sure if u need a clutch holder of not...

from the looks of it, the stator is in the cover. i am not sure though.
but that tool makes taking a flywheel off so easy. i have done it before with a puller, but it wasn't easy.

get the puller your gonna mess the flywheel up otherwise

so it would nearly be as cheap to get the kicker lol

but you still need the battery with the kicker.
so check your stator.

i will go at it whenever i get a torque rench ! but if the stator is in the cover then would i still need to pull the flywheel!?
