Triple exhaust ports and what they are.

Thats a tuffy It depends on him I guess.
I don't see why not since the Cheetah cub is $875 for 2 sleeves and a mono block that hold them.

hahaha that right there puts this into perspective.... a kick ass a/m banshee cylinder for less money than a lil 240 blasty cylinder... that is pathetic. you got a link or anything paulie??

I still dont see where the price was increased on the CT kits, they still show to be 598.00.
Ive been talking to them for the past month and a half about getting these cylinders, they are in production right now and will be ready to ship in 4 to 6 weeks. They have been telling me there is definately going to be a price increase of atleast 150$ i cant see them selling many at over 900$.Its not LA sleeve jacking the price on everyone its the foundry that casts them jacking the price(or so they say).
Im guessing CTs price will increase aswell, only time will tell.I know someone thats gonna be one pissed off mofo if they are more then 900 bucks.

OMG why you holding out on us with some pics of that thing

I aint holding out. By the way paulie, those gold rims in my sig i sold and put some new chrome on. I parted my blaster out and funded the entire banshee and its full of all the best goodies and full powdercoat. As for that LA being over 900 bux if you dig deep enough you will indeed find there new prices.

I really didn't mean to thread jack... I'm actually really insterested in a video or measurements on the triple exhaust port.

Chutzell, go to lasleeve.com and click on the sleeve in the middle and then on the raptor on the left. Click on the big bore icon and then on the Blaster 240. It says retail $923. I'm pretty sure it didn't say that all along. That was like $583 before.

Tater, back to that arguement again?

If everyone could afford an LA sleeve cylinder and have it ported, there wouldn't be a do it yourself section on the blaster forum....

On a side note, I went to the LA sleeve website and it shows the BBK cylinder price as being $923 now. I think I remember that being like $582 before... anyone else notice that?

i never argued anything man..i was just messing around..im all about DIY.. i have done about everything you can do to these machines. and im all about helping people out and encouraging them if you havent noticed..I:I

bbk? damn i was hopin someone else had had triple ?'s or answers when i saw 50 post on a half dead thread. maybe i shoulda bought that bbk w/vforce reeds 36mm flatslide and intake boot for $200 last week!

i run a triple port stock jug, but i didnt port it..it is a flotek triple exhaust setup. the thing is nasty fast for just over 200cc's and running an fmf pipe.

yea i found that,i think that may be an old price im not sure, back on topic about the triple exhaust ports

not usre how well anyone else can see the pictures but i tried this a few months ago just to see how far i could open them up,if you can see it i got the window size of that port very large, but the tunnel size is very small, that is most important.Even after i busted through the cylinder into open air i was just barely able to get a pencil through the port.Keep in mind this is after ive blown through and the entire wall is paper thin.
So after all the time, and having to sacrifice on the main exhaust port width to me the small gain in blowdown and total TA is not worth the time and risk of blowing through the cylinder, but thats for you guys to decide

I think considering where the triple ports are located, the size doesn't need to be that big.

Even a 1/4" at that area during the cylinder blow down would help out a LOT wouldn't it? So maybe you don't need to go crazy and try to cut out a hole big enough for a semi truck to drive through, just enough to keep the exhaust port width at a managable level.

i havent measured mine but they arent massive. the first one i did had maybe 1/8 or 5/16 range and there was definetly gain all the way through the power band.

Where did you blow through colby?towards the top of the channel? I did blow through a boysen port on a yt175 jug once. luckily we got it patched up. adding ports is always scary.
