If you want an extended swingarm don't attempt it yourself this the man to go to "StrokedTater244" not only was it more than I expected the communication and speed of the process was very fast!!!!!!!!!!

The first picture below shows the before and after .....the camera really doesn't show the quality of the powder coat maybe because its brite silver and the sun was beaming...

Honestly I can't tell where he cut it or put it back together. I was totally amazed by how clean the welds are, there are limited sources when it comes to buying swingarms and I have seen the lack of quality and durability, I can assure of this you won't get a better deal than this....below are a few more photo's try to focus on the welds "TOTALLY AMAZING WORK" I:I

So if you want your swingarm extended PM StrokedTater244 for a Quote!!!! he uses the best 4130 moly steel on the market and offers media blasting and powder coating.......I:II:II:I

im a certified welder and fabricator by trade, and that looks pretty solid to me. i love the absolute factory look.
props on the bridge work where the extension was made. did he mention if he sleeved, cored or butted the extension? what grade steel was used? also is it tigd or migd? looks like mig to me. very nice finished product, id buy one if i didnt know how to weld.

4130 chrome moly

thanks Elvis! im glad you like it.

for whoever asked these are done with about 80% 4130 chromoly from one of the best suppliers in the states. the other 15-20% is mild steel. wall thicknesses range from .065-.125 and .250 "bridges"

the stock tube is sleeved and plug welded. then 3 of 4 sides are boxed in, butt welded then buffed down to retain strength and a stock appearance.

welding is done with a 140 amp Hobart brand gas shielded MIG welder.

any other questions, feel free to ask here or through PM.

THANKS!
