Hello

I am needing to start my yz125 after not running it for two years, don't hate, been at uni, screwed my knee up and had surgery in that time so not been able to play about.

As its not been run for a white, whats the best way to get it going again?

Drain the current fuel out the tank, put new stuff in, cycle it for a few times with spark cup off then go to start it up?

Cheers

It depends on how it was stored. If it was put away with the carburettor dry, you can often just drain the fuel tank, clean the petcock, and be good to go with fresh fuel.

However, if the bike was stored for that long with fuel in the carb, you will have to remove and clean the carb before it will run again.

Cheers guys, I'll tackle it tomorrow in the morning, hopefully get some riding in after.
