u are ahead of me in theese build battle lol i finally got mine running today and hate how much compression it has it has way tooo much but that is good i think and i am runnin the same carb as you and i did the same thing to my manifold until i got a sms do you have anymore plans for it

Yea its great no complaints. at the end of the season i might rebuild it and possibly put a stroker crank in it.

Unless i found a good deal on a yz250 motor

Well got the rear end partially done, still need the sprocket hub but its a roller atleast now!

and have a top secret motor build on the way!

well here she is, almost 100% just have to bleed the brakes, put new chain on, and mix some race gas!

Well took her around the block a few times until the neibours came out. I gotta say this Vitos pipe is much louder then my fmf!
pipes comes on strong and doesnt fall on its face in the high rpms like the fmf did.
BTW race gas stinks!

well it ended up being a blizzard out today so i decied to tear into the DT
One thing i noticed is THE SWINGARM BOLT IS GREASABLE! so the motor came out easy!
Also a few other things i noticed.
-Oil pump is some how acuated by the throttle cable(theres a splitter)
-one stock dt200 rad is enough to cool this motor(not 2 like it says in mcdizzys write up)
-I can wire up a Tach and Coolant temp gauge
-My blaster will have a horn!
-it has some kind of boost bottle looking thing(ontop of intake mani)
-Battery is tiny, easily mountable!(brand new one on this bike)
