Hey everyone, Im new to the site and im just starting a project and wanted some feedback and suggestions. I just picked up a blaster rolling chassis for 100 dollars and I have a nice running gpz900r engine that im thinking about puting in it. Is there anyone here who has done this type of modification? I have a few friends that are atv/motorcycle mechanics so this will be done professionally.

Welcome. Hectic most of the guys around are running blaster motors, but with lots of gentle minpulation and patients you could do it but you may have to lengthen your swingarm or you may be riding a rocking horse and will end up on your head at some stage!

welcome to the site and im sure its possible. i have not heard of anyone putting that motor in a blasty frame but i know i heard of people putting cr500 motors in them. there is a guy on here i think put a yzf450 motor in a blasty frame. i sure you will have to extend the swing arm +4 or +6. diffently widen the rear and front. remember thow a stock blaster weighs around 330 with full fluids so its a really light frame and quad....welcome anyways and if you do it place the build up in the build section of the forum so we all can keep up with it bro...good luck

what exactly is a gpz900r motor? i assume an inline 4 street bike engine? i have seen pics of a kawi H2 750 triple powered blaster.... be ready to start radically modifying the frame.. you'll probably start running into height clearance issues.. is this a liquid cooled engine? if so now you need to not only account for a massive engine but also a rad. and the hoses for it.. tha blaster is a small, short chassis.. and the setup on a build like this could be a chore.. post pics as your going though.. i'd like to see how this pans out.
