i am looking to buy a 240 kit for my 2000 blaster. i am stuck between the airsol 240 kit from projectblaster with a +4 crank, or the lasleeveco 240 kit. the projectblaster one can only run on 108/110 octane fuel, and the lasleeve can run on pump gas. i only ride my quad about once a month so the pump race gas doesnt bother me. i also found the project blaster one for about 250$ cheaper than the la sleeve co. which one would you guys reccomend?

la sleeve kit needs a 50/50 mix of pump gas and race fuel also

well the one i found from project blaster comes with a redesigned head, 4mm crank, new gaskets, a brand new piston, and supposodly custom porting. so if i could save some money then i will. but i just want some suggestions before i make my move

he'll need that extra loot for the race fuel

just went on pb site and the basic airsol 240 kit with no crank is 570.00 thats only 20.00 cheaper than the la 240 kit which comes with the much better cylinder redesigned head and a mammoth cr 250 reed cage with intake boot that will fit a 34- 35 mm carb

ohh damn thats the firebreather kit lol hiope u dont plan on trail riding that as the porting isnt designed for that type of riding

thats the only kind of riding i do is trail. theres nothing else around me except a big empty sandy river and a bunch of emptyness. but would it be better to just send my top end out to get trail ported with my mods?

On project blaster's website it says that the cylinder's are for mx, tt and cross country. The porting shouldn't be unpredictable expecially if its for mx racing. If you do get that cylinder, its probably not going to like your pipe and you'll need a bigger carb for it. Also, make sure the cylinder isn't messed up. The firebreather should have a chrome lining in it unless I'm wrong and thinking of a different cylinder.

yeah people have told me to get a better exhaust and bigger carb if i get a 240 kit, but not in the budget right now. so with my fmf exhaust and v force reeds, would it be better to just send my cylinder and head to flotek?

well i live like 2 hours away and i am going up there on sunday and if the majority of people said it would be a good deal then i was going to get it. but all i do is trail riding so idk.

Its prob a good deal cause if u cant use it i bet u could sell for a profit. But it will work with ur pipe just not to full potential. But you would need a bigger carb tho
