I got a 90 yamaha blaster oil delete, tors delete and it don’t have the airbox lid. I’ve done leak down test it’ll hold 7psi all night. It starts on first or second kick every time the needle is set on the middle notch. I can’t get it to run right for some reason. It’s acting like it’s lean it’s not snappy at all the rpms go down real slow and I have to keep on the throttle a little to make it ideal right. I’ve tried adjusting the airfuel screw or whatever starting with it out 1 1/2 turns out and moving a quarter turn at time, and seems like the ideal screw don’t make no difference at all. I’ve got the float set at an 1/8in from the edge of the float bowl. I don’t know how to word it but I did what I’ve read on here and when I crack open the float bowl overflow screw it slightly starts to come out then I shut it just like I’m pretty sure I’ve read to do. I’ve tried cleaning the carb multiple times and i have the stock jets in it. What else could it be? Any help would be greatly appreciated Thx. Edit: oh yeah and what do you guys do if you can’t get your ball joints to not spin on the a-arms if you’re taking the nuts off or on? I only got hand tools so I can’t zip it on with a impact or anything.
