i found a 90 f250 with the 7.3 non turbo automatic trans 4x4 for 2500 i think it has 193000 miles does it sound like a good deal i donk know alot about fords

The 7.3 is a really reliable motor, their only pitfall is they are a little short on power (until you get in to the newer Powerstroke motors). Value of that truck is going to be really dependent on condition and maintenance, parts for full size truck aren't cheap. Why don't you just get a ranger? It will serve a young dude better bc you won't be spending all your money at the pump.

iv got a s10 now and ill be keeping it if i get the f250 and its in really good shape it needs paint but int. is really good ihe front seat has one tear on the drivers side and the back seat is perfect

Right on, I would have a mechanic give it a once over so you don't get any surprises. What year is your S-10? That was my first truck

its a 89 with the 4.3 it gets sh*t gas milage im guessing like 15- 18
Hell yeah, mine was an 89 too (it has a 92 front and rear end on it here). I had it for 7 years and I wish I would have never sold it. I swapped a tbi 350 into it after I blew up the 2.5, gas was a lot cheaper and I'm lucky I didn't kill myself in it.

that thing looks sick

Thanks man, I had a ton of work in to that thing and did pretty much every mod you can think of to it. I had a 2.8 4wd blazer and a 4.3 Silverado too so feel free to ask me questions if you ever have any problems with yours.

ford are great trucks...better than those toyota trucks

I've had a 4 cylinder Ranger ('05), Tacoma ('08 work truck) and Colorado ('10 work truck) all in 2wd and I honestly thought the Ranger was the best of the bunch. I also had an '03 Ranger 4x4 work truck and thought the engine was thirsty and sounded like an underpowered sewing machine. Tundra's are pretty legit (I drive a 2wd v8 at work occasionally) but my personal ride is a supercharged F-150, I'm too old/smart to street race it but it's pretty funny to smoke people in a four wheel drive truck that weighs 6,000 pounds I:I

Dont get the 7.3. My dad had one and he had and still has a great paying job and he could barley keep gas in the tank. I dont see a young kid with a minimum wage job being able to keep up with gas. Save for something you really want that wont be to bad on gas and that you could afford to drive.
