This how we load our bikes for the weekend away!
The places we go is normally to rough to tow a trailer, so we made a plan!
A frame with expanded metal and gas lifts to open the back up. It is lockable so all is safe and sound and bikes on top

Cool idea! I've seen similar devices offered commercially for over $ 1,000.00. I do wonder how all that weight centered towards the top of the truck bed affects the handling at freeway speeds... Looks kinda tippy.

we just pull up the front end of the bike and out it in the bed of the truck...... fits right in snuggly and perfectly, if we have 2 quads we just trailer one

I usually put up ramps the push it up, but this summer I think I'm going to start loading sideways like that. Seeing that it might be too wide B)

Tj your a show off!! lol

Off topic, but what's up with the positive camber on the Blaster on the left?

On topic, I just throw mine in the truck. Here's my beater trailer that gets dragged to the bush for camping/riding.

i just pick it up and put it in my little 6X4
but i have once tried to put it in 1999 suburban and it fit besides the fact that i had to remove the handle bars lol but it would be nice if i didn't have to

Yes the steering wheel is on the other side it is africa you know!
This setup is really stable, you will see there is a bracket in the middle under the bike, so you pull the front down and to the middle and the same with the back. If it move forward it pulls in the back and the same other way round.
We ride alot in mountains and game farms so a trailer can't really go were we would like to go! 4x4 needed all the way
