so i bought used 86? atc250r rear hubs for my blaster
they fit but i had to leave the washer off
they worked great on the test drive but didnt last long (5 laps around a 100yard course we made) till one stripped the splines
now i may have gotten a bad set from ebay as they were used and a lil rusted and i wouldnt put it past ebay to sell stripped hubs, they were cheap
i almost blue glued the hub on with my millermatic cause i just wanted to ride
they went on snugly with some hammer tapping and one i was concerned with when installing because it looked a little off inside, idk if that is the one that stripped
is anyone else running hubs to convert to 4x110 bolt pattern?
im debating buying a replacement atc hub so i can convert back to my 22" rims/tires
do you guys strip splines often? i put my stock hubs back on and rode all day on em so im pretty sure the axle is still good as i caught it really early into my ride...1 wheel drive isnt fun, i thought i had a blown clutch cause it would just revvvv when id hit it but wouldnt go anywhere. my buddy pointed out it looked like only one tire was throwning mud. a quick rev and clutch pop later and viola the culprit was found.
i want the 4x110 lugs in the rear so when me and my buddys go quadding we only need 1 spare set of tires (300ex &400ex)
other option is does anyone in nj want to trade some 22" x9" mud tires mounted for some almost new itp holeshots 20" x8 mounted on blaster rims ?
