Help with axles

Hi all . I'm doing carrier bearings on my 2004 Blaster and I messed up the splines on the axle because the wheel hub was stuck. Anyway, I was wondering if I could use the axle off my 1998 Blaster in the 2004 carrier

I need a rear axle for an 03-06. Are they different from 88-02??
