Bought my first house!

Should be able to Mr. Slick. Everything is switched over. We're planning on being moved in by tomorrow night.

And the living room has hardwood floors under the carpet. So the carpet is coming out after work!

Congratulations! ... Welcome to the wonderful world of home ownership ... nothing quite like being owned by a home :) ... if you're tuff enough you'll get past those moments of buyers remorse and charge on down the trail of repair & upgrade. Beware, a woman and a house can team up on you ... unless you wanna be a full time Mr. fixit, a smile an a huge income is the best way to deal with this ... burp ... not to worry, with a positive attitude the good will far out weigh the bad & you've got the garage space to survive...
 
The house NEEDS nothing, but will get upgraded as we go. The carpet is already out of the living room and the hardwood floors ready to be refinished. It feels good to be a home-o. That sounds wrong when you say it out loud........
