yea I am checking it all tomorrow, I hate wiring so much! Next practice is next saturday at AK Farms

ohh thats not too bad. ak is good, but for being the first time on a track, when it starts to get rough and bad, leave. even if that mean only 2 motos. u wont improve any on rough track for first time. when i was there, it was so bad, it slowed me down from my frist moto to my last. and cause it was so bad, ppl got really hurt, and stuff. ur better off just leaving when it gets bad.

I will probably stay until the track sucks like you said. How do they do the open practice? Races or just lap after lap after lap nonstop?

basically, whenu see a quad go up to the line, u go. and thats how it works. try to go out with small groups and novice level, but if u cant, dont worry about it. disent really matter. i went out with pros and expert's. so yea when u see a quad at the line get up there asap.

how many laps do they do? I am sure I can figure some of this out but if I can learn a little bit from you I will. Is it one lap and done? Then go again?

nope..... as many laps as u can get in within a 20min period. at least thats what they did to me. ansl just a tip. park as close to the main road as possible. u wont be able to get out otherwise.and make ur pits big. ppl took over mine, and i got pissed. cause the only way i can get my bike out was to push it.

ohhhhh ok that makes sense, then another group goes and you wait around for quads to start lining up again. It doesn't matter who you line up with then as long as it's quads?

And do you pit where you park or is there no pits really, just kinda get your stuff together at your car and when you need more gas or repairs you do it at your car?

yuppp the second option. and yea bikes will be going like 4x more than quads, so get out whenu can and dont miss. when i went there were a total of 4 quad motos, inwhich i went to 3. there were like 15 bike motos. ull see. just make sure u spot the track through, watch BOTH the bikes and quads go like 5 motos or so, and than just have at it. also, ur first lap, go slow, and roll over all the jumps and such. 2nd lap, go fatser, and so on. u dont want to go all out first lap. also rember ull be there all day, so u can take ur time and such. and idk if they fixed it, but watch some of the jumps. they have big lips on them, and they buck u foward. i almost took a dirt bath on my 1st lap off a jump. yea dont do that lol

good news! april 28 i will hopefully be able to go to the walden practice. did u have plans for that practice?

i'll see you there man! I just have to get my quad running by then. I need to get heel guards and a new wiring harness so I can start from scratch on it

possibly, it was really weird, here is exactly what happened. It was runing great, sdtart first kick every time. Noticed my carb cap was coming loose, the cap was stripped a little, I found another cap and replaced it. I went to start it up and it fired for a second and bogged, tried again and nothing. Looked everything over for a minute, kicked it and it seemed almost ready to start but still nothing. Made sure i had gas in the carb bowl, have compression, went to check spark and the plug looked oil fouled. Popped another plug in and nothing, checked the spark against the head and I though I might see a little spark but maybe nothing. I put my fingers on the plug and kicked it over, no shock. It seemed like the spark went gradually, but there was no change to the electrical system.

My kill switch feels loose and not real snappy so I will replace that to start with. I think I have another CDI to try too. There is no spark getting to the coil at all so it has something to do with the wires in front. All grounds are good as I can see, how many grounds are there?
