WHAT is the diff between pre 03 and after 03 seat covers??????

Hi.

I called the $tealer.. he said a 2000 seat cover would cost me aroung 90 $ .... BUT a cover for a 05 model like mine is it will cost staggering 270$


WHAT is the difference? Can i use a pre 03 on a 05?

dude you need to find a different shop, there is NO difference in seat covers....i mean what the f**ck man??? what kind of a stealership is this???X( also i would like to add that i got mine off egay for $20 from ebay seller stanimal, its holding up great and looks sweeet.

the only things changed on 03+ are the brakes, hood and bars...everything else is pretty much the same all the way back to 88...some thinng s like heel guards and pegs were diff back when they didnt come with heel guards.....lol but yeah any seat cover will work man

any year cover will work.. the only diffence i can see is the 03+ have more grip to them and have the grey strip on the back that says "yamaha"

I'm a parts unlimited dealer my book says 88 to 06 are the same. They should cost you from about 45 to 55 for an aftermarket from a dealer

You can get a gripper seat in any color you want on EGay for like $25 plus shipping.

I haven't replaced the blaster seat but I've done it on other quads and on dirt bikes....just buy the cover, line it up well, follow the instructions and staple it on. Pretty easy to do....and if you mess up, just remove the staples and do over!
