nice list! she'll be a runner for sure I:I

Thanks! Hopefully she will go together good and easy as possible, it will take some time before Il get her all put together motor wise, then Il throw on brand new Maier custom style plastics and all the other goods im gonna pick out then she will be ready to ride!! Il keep posting pics along the way, and of course my 100 ?'s Il always seem to have! Lol

for what its gonna cost you to re-bearing and new rod the stock crank why not just stroke it? is the crank locked up? does it even need to be re-bearinged. if you stoke it then you will have a reason for the 30mm carb. the list you have will run on a stock re-jetted carb. with no problem. clutch cover does not seem all that nasty i have seen way worse with a good clutch still. then with the money you saved have the swing arm extended ;) o yaa and why do you still have the engine in the bike tore down that far? take it out its only a few bolts (3)then you dont have to be on your knees all day working it. by the way nice project

i feel the same way. You are already getting the port job and a new rod why not just do a whole crank if its similar in price.

No the crank bearings, rod, and clutch is all ready new in another bottom end that im gonna use, just gonna switch them out when I get the top end done, bottom end is already done and ready to go! Just gotta wait on the top now. I plan on rebuilding the other bottom end later and use it for a spare if I ever need it, thats when Il prolly do the stroker and whatnot, cuz Im sure after awhile my BF will want his blasty even faster! Lol And I will take the motor off prolly here in a few days lol

So motor is coming completely out tonight. So I really, really want the frame painted but was wondering how much of a pain it is stripping it completely down to bare frame?? Are the shocks a biotch to take off and put back on? What about the wiring?? The swingarm bolt will prolly be a pain, but can I just take off the swingarm and leave the axle and tires all together?? Lil confused on the route I should take here......

Ok so I have been thinking I mite just part out this project bike and use the money to mod the blaster my BF has now, i just dont have the time to work on it as I was hoping :( plus his blaster is already titled and registered. Havent made a complete decision yet but if i do I will swap from one blasty to another on the parts i want to keep an sell the rest, either way I will have a whole blaster for sale in parts.....

Plus this way I can get Awks badass brakes cuz the blasty is a 2000 :)
