So, guy says it is a racing quad and the fastest he has ever seen. But never has he abused it? Ya guy is a brown crayon in a box of bright colors. (let's see how gets this)

it cant have been ridden much. stock bumper not bent. stock front tires barely worn plastics arent scratched i say if u like it go for it! but 1 question you may have answered. why do you want rid of the banshee?

Check for rod knocking, if you get it, you need to do the oil pump mod right away

i will hopefully goin to the track every weekend, or as much as i can at least. and a yfz would be better suited for that. im good on my banshee, but i can be better on a yfz. I:I

understandable. really cant beat the 450's or a 250r on the track

well i was tryin to sell my shee and get a 250r and have some extra cash. but this came along and i said "why not"

what is an oil pump mod? my friend has a yfz and idk if he did it or not. and i hope your happy with your trade

you have to get a pro to install a squirter like the new models have to properly lubricate everything instead of just hoping it splashes thru the hole.

04-06 need to have the upgrade oil pump mod. the later models are fine. you can pay someone to do it, but i was reading and there is a diy on some site on how to mod it.

If your going to the track alot, its fine, you wont need to upgrade the oil squirter. On the track youll be jumping around and what not. Its not like every 04-06 yfz has blown up. Theres alot of people who have never had problems with it.

why not fix it, why take the risk? it is worth fixing if you plan on keeping the 450 for a while.

i go to burnt river.

the jump i blew my shock on is at 6:41. i landed like 3 feet short. it was harsh, especially cuz i forgot to tighten the compression, it was alomst at completely soft. thats not me, just showing the track i go to.

My friend's YFZ had to get the engine rebuilt because it was overheating all the time. I think his is an 04.
