trading my banshee

I love it, my old 250r doesn't compare

Have you ever rode a high performance 4-stroke?

All the 450's I have owned are good for overheating and pouring out of the overflow hose, all three I have had did that, suspension was nice and power was good but I still prefer the feel of a two stroke.;)

I hope you get something good. I just traded mine on sunday. I couldnt give it away. Had it listed for 1600 and not one good offer. Everyones buying boat gas or something.

ya i would keep the shee for shure BUT I STOKE ON 2-STROKE SMOKE.....LOLO

but i rode the banshee on an mx track and i will be riding mx alot more. it doesnt suit the track. i blew my rear shock on the third lap and rode a warrior on a mini track the rest of the day. i like the 4 stroke on the track because of the range of power. plus im sure the yfz handles and jumps much better right? i would still take a decent 250r over most 450's tho. i will always be a 2 stroke fan.

a guy with a stock 2005 yfz450 wants to trade. he said it has barley been ridden and still has lots of tread left on stock tires. u guys think i should trade him?

trade for this... NOW.

the yfz will destroy that Z in both handling and performance (the YFZ is MUCH lower).

plus, with the 470, its got paper thin cases, the max they can be bored is to a 440.. a 4 mil stroker gives them 470... and thats trenching the cases a LOT, IMO, the Zs just werent meant for MX... lets put it this way, it took a sh*t ton of mods and a completely new frame with a lower ride height for doug gust to win national championships on one... they modified that bike so much, it almost wasnt AMA legal.

if u do get that 05 u will need to do the oil mod on that motor if you plan to mx it. lots of people have been cratering the pre 07 motors because of lack of lubrication. looks like an easy fix but just giving you the heads up on that. and if you do get a yfz u can join yfzcentral.com forum pretty good info on there i have been reading alot on the yfz every since i got mine

i wont be a hard core mxer. usually casual riding in trails or a sand pit by my house but i will be going to an mx track for fun every once in a while.

and how do you liek ur yfz. i hear they were kinda uncomfortable and stiff.

havent got to ride it yet still trying to get a motor for it, thats all i need same thing happened to the motor that came with it got cratered. if i was u i would get the oil mod no matter what kind of riding, to do it yourself would be really cheap and u can get somebody else to do it for like 75 bucks. 75 bucks versus 1500-2000 for a new motor is well worth it but its yours.....just from setting on it it feels good not stiff but i have fox float evols so its nowhere near stock u will just have to ride it and get a feel thats the only way u will know its for u

well i had 2 different guys wanting to trade yfz's and BOTH bailed out on me. but this guy want to trade me plus i add $200.trx450r what do you guys think. also does anyone know about the hrc kit? what is it and is a great upgrade. how do the 450r shock compare to the yfz shock?
