I love my jeep though.. It's fast as hell ("launches" hard off the start) and can hold it's own... In a straight line haha. It's funny when some ricer pulls up next to me and trys to be a tough guy and then gets smoked. So far it hasn't been beat but I haven't raced anything too fast and I don't initiate races. It's faster than the Durango with same engine ( lighter I would assume), beats a stock mustang ( not the newest generations but the early 2000 models, and one of the new jeeps with the 5.7 hemi I think it was a commander but he
might not have been all the way on it...?

Ya those motors do make some pretty nice power, it was the fastest SUV when it was produced

Get a 2" spacers for the front, throw the front coils in the rear, four new longer shocks and you've got a 2" lift!! Put lockers in the front and the rear, 31" tires, tow points, skid plates and it will go almost anywhere you point it.

I might do that lift to get me by until I get the money for the lift I really want. I will get lockers sometime in the future

It's an SUV not a damn corvette, it's fast for what it is. As I said, it will hold it will hold its own, I'm not claiming that it's the best thing under the sun.
