Thinkin about Pickin up an 88 Blasty Tonight what do ya guys think?

like u said it will be good for u and ur kid. my daughter wasnt really into quads until i got mine and tore it apart in the garage. she wanted to help and now she is always asking when can we get more parts to change. now only if the wife was like this ! lol.
my frame is a '88 and it has some drawbacks like there are no heel guards and not even a bracket to mount them too. also the foot pegs are a bit junkier than the newer ones. but with some welding all that can be fixed lol
Thanks for the head up on that SuperNoober I could just sway some of these parts off to new style stuff right? Buddie just called and said he is going to look at a 91 This afternoon its nonrunning but has clear title and all there for 450.. Im hopin he gets it cause thats woulf solve all my issues on parts

If thats the case i dont have them on my 96 either and dont mind really I seen some SICK nerf bard that have the guards built in If all goes well maybe ill spring for those. My wife is already mad cause I have 2 Blasters on my back porch .. I dropped the news on her last night as she walked in from work lmao Gonna have to send this 97 Yellow beast back over to my buddies lol She's really gonna get mad when I pick up another street bike HAHA Cause i have my Motorcycle licens and I sold my old bike last year 
MAN !! Im so pissed but this coulda went ALOT worse, So the kid calls me wanting me to come TONIGHT not this afternoon. This leads me to belive that either the blaster is jacked up or he is just straight shady, I started askin him Questions "Carbs there? No How about the Pipe and Silencer? Naw man they need'd too" Im like WTF dude last night you said it need's a top end and a seat and id havin a running blaster. He was like Ohh no man I told u it need ALOT of work I said NO YOU DIDNT You say Seat and top end man He started to get defensive and I told him I know what my RC truck is worth and he dosent seem to know what his blaster is worth So i didnt belive this would be a fair trade on my part He was like but but but and I simply said sorry we couldnt work somthing out and hung up on him. What a waste of time man. I had my mom come to watch my kids and already gassed up and borrowed a GPS for the trip . I was mad but now Im just gonna take Lil Norm (my son) and go play on our 96 and get an idea of how the trails look. Its beautiful outside

I wouldnt buy anything lower then a 2000 model these days,thats 10 years old... but i did find mine in good condition for 500$ (1996)
And if you really got about 1000-1500 id go for a 2003 to 2006
