Killer write up and splitting the cases, I am in the process of doing my own motor...

I have a 55g and a 45g tank. There both freshwater. One has an Oscar and the other is a Jaguar Chiclid. I started with one 20 gallon tank.....why cant I pick a cheap hoppy....blasters, fish, jet skis, cars, trail 70s....

Thanks man! I just went downstairs and was still messing with this tranny...but in the manual it stated use the other sidecase to assemble them at. So I tried and the bearing had stuck to my sprocket main drive shaft and came out of the case during disassembly. So I took a soft bristle wire wheel and dir grinder and grinded the rust off where the sprocket was at and the bearing came right off. I stuck it in a ziploc baggie and in the freezer it went! I'll drop it back in the case in the morning.

Yeh my hobbies are always expensive as well!

The gears mesh well and turn freely...now when I turn the main drive that holds the sprocket on:

And the star shifter mechanism at the same time:

It moves vertain shift forks up and down...and the forks were also numbered and i paid attention to where the circlip was so i would know which way for it to face.

What do you guys think?

Ok...got my extended park brake eliminator cable today along with all the allen head bolts to do the cases and my 3/8" Modquad reed spacer.

All I need is the stroker crank, gaskets, cfm airbox with uni filter, and top end kit and it will be rolling again!

Well I grinded a little off the star....since I know how it goes in there, I can take just that back out ans grind a little more. Just afraid to take off too much..
