Thanks....as soon as freek gets his stuff back up and fabbing, sidecases will go and I will get him to make me a case saver, slider, and cases.
LOL well I beileve I may put some hi-temp paint on that jug and case to keep them from rusting or corrosion starting up. I'd like to find a hi-temp clear coat?
Exactly what I was thinking....brain just wasn't functioning. But it does corrode..or oxidize. Maybe shoot it with hi temp chrome. Hell what about ceramic coating it?
Thanks! The head and case get the same treatment....some chrome too but not all because I wanna offset it with the orange powder

Thanks man! I'm gonna start on this oven Sunday...gotta go to work half a day tomorrow, get some parts sent out that I promised and are paid for already.
That stuff was really simple....stripper, wash, blast, alcohol wipe down, then high temp clear coated.

Could someone tell me how this copper head gasket goes? Does it go with the beveled circle up, or down, and is that arrow on the gasket to say point towards the front of the motor?
