alright im currently running a 350 main which i think is wayyy too rich and needle 2nd clip and the revs r hanging.... dont have an airleak so does anyone have any diagnosis on my problem... i need this as fast as possible as summer is here and i have my usual need for speed I:I

check the throttle box adjusment, check the idle (on the tors box) ,and check the air fuel skrew.
if the revs hang you need to adjust the air screw in quarter turn at a time till you don't hang revs, you can fine tune it to an 1/8th turn till you get a nice response then you should be good. The main will or should have NO effect on idle to off idle of the motor. Only the pilot and air screw.
i started the quad and sprayed carb cleaner all over the carb... and if im correct... if there was an airleak the engine would've choked and sputtered out
yeeeaaahhh kinda, ive done that too as kind of a ghetto airleak test. the biotch is there are lots of other places for air to leak, im not saying you definately hae a leak im just sayin you cant rule it out unless youve done a proper test with a leakdown tester.
thats my next plan is needle in the 3rd clip.... how would i make a real leakdown tester.... and ik my throttle cable isnt getting hung up
this may be dumb but do you have the oiling blocked off and is the hole in the carb blocked? oil hose from the pump goes to the right of the carb on the boot side of the carb. That would cause major air leak if not plugged and wouldn't show up under normal air leak tests.
Not to be an ass but how many threads are you going to make on this same subject? I'm still sticking with airleak/lean situation. You will need to go over the entire engine, not just the carb, an air leak can be anywhere that there is a a joint and a gasket in the motor, so where the cases join, where the reeds mount up, the base of the jug, the top of the jug, etc.
On Sunday when I have the time i'm gonna try needle 3rd clip... Then adjust the air screw.... If that doesn't work I'll probably check all my gaskets.... But Ik the 1 under the jug is new.... Then if neither of those work I'll probs take her to the shop.... And ik I made like 4 threads..... My bad
