Just got this 2000 blaster on trade and got it running really good finally, new front brakes and they are now perfect but the OEM cable rear brake will not respond to anything. Any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
If I have to do a conversion to hydro maybe someone can suggest some that are crazy expensive.

Scraped mine years ago & put on a yz85 but that took some welding, drilling and taping.
This might help.

I appreciate the reply but I bought a cheap cable driven brake caliper on Amazon, fabbed up a custom mount and painted it to match and it's perfect,I even fabbed up a secondary handle under the front brake handle to be able to do the ultimate wheelies. I did buy the motion pro shorty cable but once I decided to do the hand back break lever I kept the OEM cable.
