Ratling noise!!!

ok well i started up my blasty and i heard a lil ratling noise(so quite you can just about hear it! ) its coming from the top of the engine ! please dont tell me what im expecting lol it still drives as it should !!! same power etc!

how old is the top end?
maybe a bad wrist pin bearing?

check for a loose spark plug and any bolts first. if there is still a rattle try to tell if it is inside the motor or not

ya thats what worries me its a constant rattle ! its only been rebuilt about 6 months ago!

Are you sure it isn't just reed noise? Or do you have that too?

its the piston !!! when i rev up it goes up! or maybe a bearing ! it sound like spining a wheel in mid air!

its unlikely but just trying to help lighten the mood, it could, just maybe, be a baffle in the exhaust loose its possible
