thats an awesome gesture harley, but we want to do this without anymore burden to mikes family than they already have.
we have time yet before they will even want to think about any of this, and will come up with a solution that would make mike proud. I:I

Although I did not know Durby I consider all riders a brother/sister. Words do not describe how much this hits home. My deepest sympathies to his family.

When you come up with a solution I will help the best way I can..

from my last words with mike, i understand he just got the boys engine back, but was missing the kicker.
i offered one and will have it in the mail asap.

i believe the other quad broke a reed during breakin, but he stated he had an extra set of what appeared to be boysen dual's in a stock cage, that just needed installed.
so as far as i know, it's an engine install (engine/pipe/carb ?), install new reedcage, jetting and break-in to get both quads running.

i can see in those last pics that he did indeed get at least the pink bikes seat cover installed, but not sure about the chains/gear sets he also just bought with the winnings from blaasters contest I:I

if I could take enough time off from work I would go do it just wish I could it would be an honor to help would be a lot of joy in seeing Miikes kids have the bikes done that he put so much love into
 
I am overcome with joy and i know that Michael aka Durby would be so happy to read these posts just like I am. He loved these forums and he was constantly on them. If anyone would like to come to his Celebration of Life it will be held Feb 8, 2014 at Feather Falls Casino in Oroville CA the Casino where he worked for 14 years ~ Brandy

Awk08 he did have the chains/gear set on the pink quad and he was in the process of putting the engine in on the monster green quad (our sons) until around 8 pm on Saturday night so even the night and day before he spent doing quad stuff :)

I have a new stock reed cage and stock reeds if they are needed. I will be glad to send out.
 
I don't know how I missed hearing about our fallen brother, I feel so bad for your family's loss. Brandi stay strong knowing you,mike and your kids will forever be in the hearts of the members of blasterforum.
 
This story hits close to home for me. For not knowing Mike personally and just knowing him from blaster forum I sure have cried for him and his family.Still tough to take in... Other than work and family quads are what I live for.I am always wrenching on a quad or bike and having fun with my kids. Obviously Mike new his nascar as he was a jr fan!!!! He sure was a very smart guy!!!! :D
Brandy,I am very happy to see you on here doing your best to stay strong for the family. My thoughts and prayers are with you,your family and your friends.
With that said as I wipe some tears.. I would like to extend my help to you to get those blasters up and running new for the kids. Seeing you and the kids smile would bring great joy to me. I am all the way in Massachusetts and will fly to Cali on my dime to bring some joy to the family.They say a smile is a thousand words. I am sure there is bigger important things to deal with right now but my offer stands forever!! When and if you are ready feel free to contract me and I will make arrangements to get there.
Stay strong and think off all the good times.The more I learn of Mike the more it hits home and realize how much we had in common. You have a beautiful family

Ian, if and when the time comes, I will do all I can to make this happen. Let me know what I can do to help you make this happen. The monster themed bike also needed a rear brake. I shipped a stocker with the shorty cable out to Mike on Friday. Max Reps given.

I thought - that Brandy coming on here recognizing what Mike meant to his brothers on this forum, hoping in some little way it will help her and all of mikes family thru this........

I feel so connected to mike a man so much like myself who loved his family and riding I just regret that I never got the chance to ride with him.and dualstroke deserves max reps as well
