ordered my new swinger

I got a response from the guy on ebay:

Dear crxbart,

Hi, sounds like you will need a heavy duty swingarm which THE SWINGARM SHOP can build, you can reach them thru there auction # 3701 5122 2689
Thanks

- 2manysprees

they say 1/4" steel plate, probably for shock mount and carrier mount. The rest is 11 gauge which is 0.1196" thick.....

I wonder how thick the stocker is?

The reason i"m asking for measurements is I want to see if you can make one by cutting either before or after the shock mount and just sleeving the thing, plus reinforcing it.

I sent the swingarm shop the same thing I sent 2manysprees. So we will see what they say next. It appears there are 2 different types. The one in the auction they referred me to, seems like maybe it is better. They go on into the materials more. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. I'll keep you guys posted.

I'm 6' 2" 225#....I probably look pretty funny all bundled up wheelieing down the road on a blaster!!! But it's fun. I'm sure the longer swingarm would make it fit me a bit more, that and a little wider stance.

dude my dad looks hilarious on his all stock blaster. he's like 6'1 and around 250lbs. he's all big and porkey lol. his buddah belly lmao. looks like he's smuggling a watermelon under his shirt.

as far as wider goes, my durablue axle is +2" on both sides. and flipped front rims. looks pretty good imo.

on the +4 swingers the shock mount is the same distance as the stock swinger, its made for stock rear shocks

that's what im working on extending my swing arm +4 i am looking to order the steel rectangular tubing from speedy metals.com and you can order it buy the inch and its cheap, if i get a chance i will take pics of my progress when i get a chance i have it cut into two just need to MIG weld it up ad some cross pieces and what not

I got a reply from the swingarm shop. They do offer a unit for MX racing. I am waiting on him to give me a price.

it didnt take all that long to install. i think it took us like 3-4 hours maybe? if that. and the reason it took us so long is cause we had to run to the store to pick up grease, and new cotterpins.

we also had to take the swinger off my parts blasty cause i didnt have those little end caps on my old arm.

havnt taken it out for a ride yet. waiting on my rear hydros to come in the mail. also havnt put the chain on yet. i can't wait.
