First hello everyone and thanks for helping me out and letting me be apart of the site! Now onto the good stuff! just bought a 97 blaster did almost everything to it as far as replacing and cleaning and tweeking kinda! my problems is when i got it running the clutch was stuck i got it free but i can't shift into 4th 5th or 6th. it just wont shift up into those at all. 1st 2nd and 3rd are great. also it has a 10 over piston bore and it seems bogging right at the snap of the throttle but it quickly catches up and does fine. but stills boggs off the bat. any advice would be greatly appreciated!!! thanks a bunch!! oh it also has carb rebuild new petcock all new filters and lines with boysen 2 stage reeds.

Sounds like a shift arm or fork problem for the shifting

The bogging sounds like jetting or a fouled plug. Maybe bad gas. Check out the first link in my signature for some basic maintenance vids.

check for straightness of the shift arm, more than that, you going to whip off the clutch cover, id have a look of i were you. sticking clutch means something is loose or worn

If it sat for a long time (months) the oil drains out of clutch causing sticking. Does it work good now? Have you changed the trans oil? If you did just change it, drain into CLEAN container and look closely at the plug to see if you can tell if it may have had a magnet come loose. If not, pull clutch cover and look at external shift mechinisum for wear/bent/loose parts.
