I'm building an airbox for a fellow member (and probably going to pop one out for myself too considering it's so darn purdy)

Not quite finished (had a little failure this morning with my slip roll and took part of the day getting that hammered back out) but most of the way there!

This is the new one next to my steel painted one I built before:

The drain in case the new owner gets into "trouble". It's capped with a rubber cap:

hand rolling is Not an easy task. that, and welding all those corners takes a pretty steady hand. if you do decide to make a few, im in! good stuff always comes outta your shop!

the hooks look much better than the CFM style that bolts to nothing.

The 24 gauge steel box with only 3 tabs has been on my blaster for just under a year now.... I think this .080" (:o) 4 tabbed aluminum box is going to hold up quite well.

I like this mounting system much better than the CFM style.... I've seen a bunch of those that the mounting wasn't worth a darn!

ima deff leave sum feedback when i do my rebuild. i plan to make a feedback thread to all the members that helped me and did business with once i finished fixing my quad.

Thanks CIVIC! GOOD JOB BRO! I:I

It's all finished and has been fine wet sanded already. I have to pick up a buffing wheel for doing the polishing and of course, a battery malfunction on the camera means I can't take the finished pics yet!

I have a red silicone reducer on the way as well, it should be here the beginning of the week and the box should be ready to go by then!

I'll post up finished pics when I get the camera operational again.
