How to block off the oil injection thing

I edit do to miss spelling and some txt that may be unclear as to what I am trying to say.And your still wrong on your mix ratio.Or its not how I see it.And I never told this guy to add oil to his tank for his problems he is having. You need to go back and read.I did post to add 50:1 and run one tank of that for brake in as the clymers manual suggested. But I may get irritated and talk out of my ass with out thinking I'll grant you that. But your still a bit extreme on how much more oil is added. And it will not blow your motor.Honestly I can see what you meen about the manual.Same goes for fmf jet recomendation. But still.32:1 ratio is 4 ounces.40:1 is 3 ounces and 50:1 is 2.5 ounces of oil.Now if your injection is feeding around 40:1 if that.there not imo accurate and the manual says no info just that it gives a given ratio between which speed the bike is running for the best over all performance or something.I would have to look it up but any way.Lets just say 40:1 which is 3 ounces. And you add 50:1 to the tank which is 2.5 ounces. Now thats going to be 5.5 ounces of oil per gallon of fuel.Thats a 24:1 mix ratio accourding to the mixing chart.Regaurdless of what the book says. This mix is going to run poor and max rpms wont be achieved. Its going to be slugish. If you ride it in the style of a proper brake in Im sure you would be fine. Its not going to blow the motor. And it says to do this with one tank only.If I were to give my personal advise it would be to rid the oil injection from the start and just run it at 32:1.But this time I thought I would post something strait out of the manual in hopes of not beeing bashed for posting something out of the manual.

Ow I got you 150:1 overall added oil to the tank.Thats not much but I understand the way your measuring it now.

Sorry for high jacking your thread bud.Dont pay any attention to it.Its off topic.Happens a lot in this forum.Blaaster can get you up and running but mind you he goes to the extreme before eliminating the little stuff at times but he knows what he is talking about mostly lol.Well I cant say that just he is overly cridictable just ask him to keep it simple.

You put it in a nutshell, we have been saying it all the time.

And dont edit the statement out, like you have in the past.

No, the math is right, I'm 100% positive of that. 150:1 is not the total in the tank. You really should try to get your buddy to explain to you the mix ratio and then maybe you'll understand...afterall, he is an MX God IYHO. You did tell the guy to drop in a couple ounces in the tank, you've probably just edited it out by now. I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt, but I see that was a waste of my time. Unlike you, I'm going to let this dog lie, take my own advice and just roll on.

Blaaster, this one is all yours. Sorry my friend.

Yup it is like casting pearls before swine.

I had better get out of here, before I say something that will incur me a ban.

Has anyone had any problems with the top end speed like when I drive it. Bottom is snappy but once I start going it sounds like sh*t and has no power at all. Sounds like its gunna blow

Mine gets really boggy...starts spitting and sputtering and when I pin it, it just cuts out. Have you pulled your plug after it does that to see if it is wet with fuel, covered in oil or dry? I recommend a glove, it gets warm in there. If yours is doing what mine is doing, it sounds like you are jetting wrong. I get up to 3/4 throttle, but then it starts doing it's thing when I go to WOT. I've been having problems with my carb though, just was never jetted properly.

Is you're doing it just at different throttle ranges or just at speeds? Meaning, if you hold the throttle at one spot, say 1/2 throttle in say 4th or 5th gear, as it gets going faster and faster it sounds like garbage? Or does it just do it as you push harder on the throttle?

Lol I dont edit anything out I add to it.But yeah only you can pute me in a nutshell and mix up what points Im trying to get across. But I never advise anything thats not true. You tend to get people wound up.But its cool lol.No pun inteded. It all gets done the same in the end.

Well I guess I dont get it.5.5 ounces of oil to 1 gallon is 24:1.Where are you getting 150:1 thats hardly any oil.I only assume this is the overall oil added to the amount of the full tank not the mix ratio. And yeah he did get offered to go pro.You would not believe the demand it putes on your body and they expect you to give your life to get the win.Yeah he has been around motor cross all his life.He flies over triples and over hills with treas and lands on the other side.He is a nut.But cool and calm. Its impresive. But yes I gues I dont get it.Im my mind the mixture is 24:1 its add the ounces of oil and matching it to the mixing chart. Not sure what your doing then.150:1 is not even an ounce. If im not getting it feel free to pm me and explain. So far you guys are just looking to bang on someone for a recomendation that came from the repair and maintenence manual. You must be a chemist and a smart guy to be smarter than what the book says. You should write the repair manual I guess.Right.B)

Here I wont edit........No pun intended.Nothing personal. But seriously talk about extreme bs.If I pee in your tank will that blow it up too.Dont have any issues working on my bike.Must not be to dumb. Its jetted pretty good too lol.Ok but yes close topic from here. This guy needs help and were turning it into a debate club lol.Sorry had to edit and pute that in there no pun intended Im just not getting it.8-|

Of course it won't blow it up, urine isn't combustable. I:I Unless you drink so much Amp that you urinate alcohol from all the sugars that you digest.

Thanks ezrider for the pm totally understand now.Reps for you.
well seems ive allready reped you and says I need to spread the reps around before rereping you.You know you math...But please throw in the lowest denominator so I dont look like a complete ass next time.I:I

Blaaster shut up lol.j/k.It still says it in the book lol.8-|

Like when I'm In 4 gear trying to get to high rpms. I get going but when I get to the top it sounds like its about to blow up. Sounds terrible? But thing I do
T get is it was runnin fine few days ago so something must be broke idk.

I drained the tank of the gas with a little bit of oil in it. How long shoul it take for it to get out of the carb?

It should burn out enough within 30 seconds if you chase it with fresh fuel.

Have you taken off the pipe and had a look at the condition of the piston and rings..

If it is still running lean for some reason, the noises you hear could be detonation.

I recommend that before you ride it again, you get a leak doiwn test performed to make sure you have an air tight motor.

Leaks can pop up out of the blue for a multitude of reasons, from a leaky seal, gaskets, case cracks, reed block, carb boot, to mention a few.

Once you have confirmed that it is not lean from sucking air, then we can tackle the next problems.
