I just bought a 2001 blaster white/black in mint condition for $700 needs carb clean, fluids, and new plug. Not bad huh ill post some pics in a few days...
I wana do some mods whats the best mods to do for it i was thinking

1. new swing arm
2. banshee rear wheels/tires with spacers.
3. New rear brake pads.
4. Vito's block off blate for mixing the gas my self 32-1
5. new pistion and ring (Any suggestions) ?
6. full exhaust ?
7. new racing carb ?
8. after market front bumper and rear bumper.
9. front & rear sprockets ?
10. new stage 2 reeds ?
11. new rental bars.

7.depends if you do big bore on what size
9.14t in front/38t or 40t in rear

swingarm= yb200 extends em and there good and hold up well
banshee rear tires, spacers just go with the holeshots or razr's on stock wheels prob alot easier
break pads=????
the vitos block off is pretty good
piston's ring's wiseco, numera etc
exhaust= tons of pipe options, im in love with my shearer and i think that if u got it too u would fall in love with it
carb= keihen 30mm thats what i'm runnin with all mt mods
the tusk comp series bumper is Bada**!!! u can interchange the faceplates for styleB) grab bar prm
primary drive sprokets are good.....depends do u want top end or down low power?
them reeds u said are exceptional
PROTAPER!!!! lol i just like those but renthal are awesome toooooo!!!!!

ebay is your best freind bro!!!! if i were u i would remove my airbox lid or buy a new airbox
shocks are horrible on a blaster and under suspension there is a real good shock thread...

a banshee axle works great on 03 and up but 02's and down need new hubs

i sugggest the razr tires, i run mine hard and they are awesome!!!!!!!! there is a forsale thread and a wanted thread but u have to have 300 posts and be a member for 60 days or pay up 10$ and become a supporter and then all u need will be 30 posts...... just DO NOT make a thread in the off topic section for wanted parts or else you'll have greif!!! lol i did that and it was a rocky start....... welcome!!!!!!!!!

Cleaned the carb already it was pretty dirty, going to get a new plug tomorrow NGK BR8ES, does any body know how many turns from lock down on the set screw (Air fuel mixture) ? what kind of oil for the crank case ? Thanks for all your help guys. It does run but at first it was getting hot and i herd knocks in the head a little, after cleaning the carb it ran a lot better but seemed rich from smoke then i shut it down and could not get it started back up, plug seems old and black my guess is the plug is shot gas is old.

air screw should be about 1 1/2 turns out and i use belray gear saver but u can also use

hey man glad you choose this site..
first things first if you wanna do some modding and you want our advice...

then your ganna have to tell us where you ride (tight trails, open trails, sand, dunes, mx) basicly what do you plan on doing with the quad, when people are telling you to get this, this, and this but have no clue where you ride or what your plans are.
those people end up not helping at all untill they know....sorry lol
