so yeah i walked into PEP BOYS the other day and saw a radar gun on the sale rack "my favorite place to shop". The brand name is BUSHNELL or something like that i started up the Blaster and off we went. I am geared 14 front and 41 rear and some how my little blasty hit 68mph and thats pretty fast considering a 450R honda tops out at 69.9mph asper the magazines. now im wondering how this is happening is this thing a piece of sh*t or is my blasty really running that good. what do you guys think.

2 strokes always run their best right before they blow lol be cautious haha, some blasters with the right gear and tire size can hit a pretty high speed
I didnt mean i checked a 450R i ment i read that in a magazine "Dirt Rider" i think. Anyway the motor has a 3 mil stroker crank,240 kit,34 mikuni ,fat bastered pipe etc...
i have another blaster port n polished,200cc,stock crank,fmf fatty pipe,34 mikuni,14front 37 rear sprokets, And this bike stays right next to my other one until 6th then it lags but eventually passes the stroked 240.. So i find this very hard to believe that i was going 68mph with a 41 sproket in the rear...

if the 240 kit isnt ported i could see why your other blaster is beating it
port the 240 and watch it shoot past your other blaster

i know this..... all i want to know is does this radar gun work do blasters normally top out at these speeds or did i waste my $32.00 for this radar gun.. remember it was on sale thats why so cheap msrp was $119.99.
i dunno it may be a bit high.. but ive got a stroker, ported cylinder, blah blah blah and i feel like high 60's is completely reasonable, i was messing around with a mechanic buddie that was in a pos toyota echo and when i flew past him he said he was going 53 and i was only in the high end of 5th
well im not sure it feels like it but from what ive read on here it shouldnt be...thats why i have been asking . .. sh*t if it does that now i cant wait to send it all the way to FLOTEK.

mine is geared 14 40 with mods in my sig...and with my gps in my pocket it said i did 62...not sure how accurate that is...after that run i blew it up...so...idk w/e lol
I think a Blaster can do 58 mph stock so I would believe 68. You could make a blaster do 80 easy if you wanted to, it's all about the gearing
58 stock dont think so im not sure bout that i can pull on a stock blaster from the whole till 6th and get 20 bike lengths from the hole... im not saying i have the fastest blaster in the world but my sh*t aint stock and i have ran with yfz 450 and out the whole those bikes put down 32 lbs of torque stocks so i think its pretty quick im gonna put on my 37 tooth sproket in the back and see what that does....
we do enjoy vids I:I I:I, ask freek what a ported and stroked flotek setup can do

tater and flotek had said he topped out at over 80mph.....not sure if it was this tho

I've been reading this radar proves it stuff lately but it kinda seems like dyno info to me. Great for what it's worth but depends on the situation. How do u measure, when do u measure? WFO on smooth road, WFO in the sand, 1/8 mile, some random point that it seems to be fastest, what gearing? Sounds like fun but all things considered what does it prove with out knowing all the particulars....burp... Not flamin, just think there should be some qualifying info provided with the results.

check the radar gun with a car. have a buddy drive 60mph then clock him if it says 60 on the gun then its good.
