Hi all
On my old 02 blaster i flipped the front wheels to make the blaster a bit wider, my new quad is 06 and i flipped 1 and realised it wont work because the valve hits the caliper. How do people with discs on the front flip there wheels? or do they not?

thanks

go with low profile valve stems or you can alway drill holes on the opposite side and flip the valve stems on the inside "permanent plug for the caliper side"

Thank you, I'll have a look at work cos i just realised we've probably got some right angled valves...

Let us know how that turns out. I'm think the rim will be way out of balance after the weld filled hole.

He probably wouldn't notice it unless he drove it down a road.
Sand and dirt tend to mask those things.

Even then considering most atv's are hub centric and don't use hub rings the balance probably isn't all that great to begin with.

Did it about 2 months ago no probleme at all the weld weighs less then a valve stem.

needed new front tires so i did it when i removed the old ones
i just cut a 1 inch bit of sheet metal, put it in the inside
and welded from the outside
Then i painted the rimes (needed some paint anyway) and put new tires
i'll get some pics today or tomorrow

Thanks for your input. It was something I was wondering about.
