Has anyone noticed how many people just plain lie, absolutely flat out lie in the ads for Ebay. I saw one blaster for sale that said it had a stock 250cc engine. So I thought maybe he just didn't know, so I wrote to him and explained that there was no such thing and he should change the ad. He said that he knew it was a 200cc and he wasn't going to change the ad.
Another guy claims he has a 230cc cause its bored over .30.

I know this sounds like a rant, because it is, I just wanted to know how other people feel about the blatant disreguard for truth in advertising found on Ebay.
Beware!

your telling me try buying a car and the guy telling u it needs a tune up but instead it was a motor and a bunch of other sh*t $10,000 later and a trans the cars a dreamboat but they are all scammers best bet is too check it out first look for something near you

people put blasters as 250cc cuz they think it is easier to sell as a 250...cuz people think a lil 200 cant do anything...when really it can beat the sh*t out of alot of 250's

i have noticed that alot of "personal" sellers lie or leave things out. They dont care if thye get some negitive feedback. they just want to sell a few items here and there. People that run companys with ebay are very good with accurate discriptionsm and are good honest sellers. They do not want any negitive feedback. That is how they make their money.

I hate buying sh*t used. especially on ebay. always get f*cked. the funniest i find with stick cars, they ALWAYS say just put in new clutch. obviously its a straight up lie, unless they got bills, which they hope you wont ask for. that and other sh*t you cant check. buying sh*t used always ends bad. well atleast for me most of the time.

I did get a sweet deal on my rear brakes, the caliper, master and res was 70 with shipping. But I did my homework and researched quite a bit before bidding on it.

i bought both my quads on craigslist and sold my 2 sportbikes there as well. i wont touch ebay anymore to buy things. i use it for lookign around and price ranges for use dparts and thats it. if i cant find it locally i look on forums. they are truly the best place to find used parts.

I love ebay!! Thats where 90% of my parts came from. Try to show me where else I can get a +3 round housing swingarm w/ carrier for $310. My beadlocks with tires were 265 shipped to my door. You just have to do your homework when your shopping on there.

if ebay was all bad, it would be be up and running. just make sure your not buying from someone that has alot of negitive feedback. dont just bid or buy on impulse. take a while and research the sell. read the feedback about shipping, product condition, and communication. ebay has tons of great stuff for cheap. there are tons of people and parts. motorcycle and atv wreckers post on there all the time. i have yet to see a wrecker post parts for sale on this forum for sale.

I just spent $650 on a complete MX front end and never touched ebay. almost new Elka's and burgard +4+1 arms all bought from members of this forum. i haven't seen a deal like that on ebay since it started.

im not saying that you cant find deals on ebay, but its nowhere like it used to be and has a TON of scams on it now.

Aint nothing wrong with ebay... Thats what the feed back thingy is for.,..and if they are a new seller and have barely or any feed back dont buy nothing to expensive from em.
