So that is what you are doing with that! I hear for BB that triples are great!

Well.... look at that equation again....

Sleeve=$80
sleeve installation=$150
Porting to match=$100
head mod=$65
piston to match=$145
gasket set=$40

La sleeve kit is a complete kit ready to bolt onto a good bottom end which includes the CR250 intake manifold and reed block and a better port layout than factory. It's a generational leap in port design over the factory cylinder

I run an LA 240 Sleeve in a stock cylinder with a single exhaust port. Runs fine and makes plenty of power. The only thing I didn't like was how the intake bridge was cut when the cylinder was bored to accept the sleeve. I ended up removing the bridge. So far so good. LA Sleeve has a great set of instructions for installing a sleeve in the tech section of their web site. Be sure your Dad gets a set. Have him give me a call if he has any questions. I've installed sleeves in automotive engines as well as two strokes and the process differs substantially.

thanks and will do. hes built a few 250r 's in his day and id imagine the process would be relatively the same.
