Broken parts on race night is usually never good :}

another thing we learn to do is secure the seat hing with a zip tie when racing. motocross Bikes have 2 bolts and quad have one spring loaded hing to hold the seat on. I've seen it happen to others and it and finally happen to me with seat coming loose when landing just right, so from now on we add a zip tie.

congratulate jordan for me, awsome win one legged !!!!!!
and i too got the report during the week

also, i will be having to build a set of tube pegs to accept my pro armor nerfs i bought cheap cause the mounts were missing, strokedtater and i discussed drilling the mount plate to extend the tube tru it, so it can be welded on both sides for more strength,
just an idea i had so i didnt have to depend on just the weld.
1 broken leg, torn twisted, completely facing backwards foot, and a helicopter ride to the trauma center was enuf fo me

having to stand with your weight mostly on one foot peg, hauling ass leading the pack and still hitting monster jumps for the last two laps to still win is one hell of an accomplishment.

thats a hollywood quality ending right there.

nice job jordan, thats crazy u were able to pull that off !!!! and how about that ken oconnor power!!! so nice job to ken also

Awesome wins! Glad You are alright. Wished I lived close to ya as I could hook up with a good weld! Keep those wins coming!

Tried to get Jordan to reply, but he said he wasn't good at forum talk. Thanks guys he liked reading all the nice replies. And just for the record I didn't weld the post on it was already welded when I bought it, but my fault for not checking the quad over good enough. And Ya how bout that OConnor engine.....woohoo

awesome finish and even better win! great job. good boots are worth the money. well, all protective gear for that matter.

x2 on the seat. I figured that one a little ways back with my sons kasea, the seat just loves coming off for some reason on the track lol. two zip ties later and no problems :D

not sure if I'd be putting holes in the frame. maybe get an L bracket out of 1/4" and weld it to both the back and inner edge of the frame and weld the tube that holds the nerf to that as well as the one end of the frame it can touch after two edges touch the bracket.. when I 1st read the thread I thought that too, but now think some type of gusset/bracket to hold the insert to the frame is a better idea. g/l
