Bought my first truck

well the deal came up so I grabbed it, its a 1995 ford ranger XL, 3.0L V6, 5spd manual, super cab. ended up getting it for $750. I just need to get it saftied now, I know it needs a rear light lens, front tires, and some small time exhaust work around the cat converters. Very solid, drives real nice. I see some new wider luggy tires (keeping the nice rims on it now, fixing the little rust spots and getting it painted black again, and some interior work.

Sweet buy! I don't think you'll ever have any major problems with it.

My first truck was a 1996 SWB Ranger. It had the 2.3 and a 5-speed manual. I loved that truck and wish I still had it. (Unfortunately, it got wrecked one winter and the frame was bent, so I decided to sell it.)

if it ever goes a 5.0 will be it's replacement

Sweet. I was looking up info on rangers before and I read the auto trans are weak. Did you find any info on that?
