I gotcha. Then you don't have much to lose! Get the Ranger and go see what you can do with it. Even if you kill the body, you can always make a couple hundred off a running engine and good tranny as long as you dont blow it up.
Sounds like you're trying to bite off quite a bit. I personally wouldn't get a 2 wheel drive to be a woods truck. At least do yourself a favor and get a winch. That way if you get stuck you can get yourself out.
