Trust me there is
I took a look at the a-arms. There is no way I could have put the left side on the right side because the tie rods would have nothing to connect to and the brake lines would be reversed. It is possible that the upper a-arms are on the wrong sides from when the owner before me installed them. It does not look like there can be any more length out of those a-arms even if I did switch them.
stand this bike on it's assend and get us pics
it is also possible these are not + anything forward, in that case they should be able to go on either side
the top arms ball joint does look to be back further than the bottom one, at that angle of the pic, they look like they should be more purpendicular with the bottom ball joint ??
but the bottoms appear to have no forward angle at all ???
so if they are +2/3, thats all they are,
not +1 forward
just my opinion from what i see in the pics
hit the chatroom and get the a-arm guru civic to have a look ??
If you switched the upper a-arms, not only would you not gain any more travel but you would have a dangerous amount of negative caster (to my simple eyes).
If the upper ball joint pivot is in front of the lower ball joint pivot, the steering will have negative caster and "wander" dangerously
so they are installed correctly ????
Looks like it to me.
If they were "flipped around" it looks like the upper ball joint would in fact be in front of the lower ball joint and the front suspension would be VERY unstable.
