i think people bash the blaster because once modded the blaster really makes alot of larger atv's look silly.
my son wants to do video's of the larger atv's he has beaten in races.
so far he has raced a honda 400ex and won, 300ex and won, and a stock ltz400
but my point to begin with was that anyone who outruns a smaller atv and brags about it has got to be pretty lame to begin with.
personally i like the blaster better, plenty of power and only one cylinder to repair when the rings break. alot cheaper to modify, and for the hp you get out of it with mods it makes it worth while.
the banshee is a good strong atv, but too short for the power.
not saying it is overall too short but just too short for the power, it makes it harder to control on trails.
i bought my banshee and blaster at the same time.
weighed the options of modding the blaster or the banshee and chose to keep the blaster because overall it was a better trailbike.
i am 39, 5'7" 180 pounds and the blaster drags me around like iam not on it, check the video of it with me on it. it's a quick little blaster.
while drag racing is fun i spend alot more time on the trails and havent found anyone on a banshee willing to ride fast enough to get past me on the trails.
Seriously i ask ...how many 5'7" 180 pound 12 year olds do you see riding a blaster?
very few unless momma likes freebasing crisco...
it's all opinion, people are going to like what they ride.
i ride a 450er most times now having given my son the modded blaster, but i still like to get on the blaster every once in a while.
