2000 Yamaha YZ250 Blaster
i almost bought this today, i got him down to 400 and i thought it was a seal at 400 , but it said it needs a head gasket and idk what year the motor is and the guy says he has a custom exhaust for it, but i asked him and he said it was 2.5 inches , almost like a four stroke header pipe and i was like that aint right so i tought it was gonna be to much of a pain to mess with it

dude just pay the 400 for it and if it doesnt work out part it.. simple as that

400 i would have bought it and took the motor out dixed the o ring and sold the motor (dont know what yz250 motors are gowing for but it should be worth some money) and used the frame as parts

Other than the hardest(trickiest) part is yet to be done, the pipe, I do it.

Looks like an older motor. Be careful, some years are hard to get parts for.
That said, all models with reeds and powervalve make good power (40-45hp+).

Yup, the pipe is the hardest part, buy a YZ250 pipe and section&weld it to fit.
You are going to have to do this with any swap.

I do think a 6" swinger is too long for anything but a dragster, but what do I know?

Looks like well worth $400, especially if you ever considered a YZ swap.
