Yamaha TT-R 125

Hey guys, I might be picking up a 2002 Yamaha TT-R 125 dirtbike. Anyone know anything about these bikes? Do they ride nice? Are they quick?

I want to make some mods to it like a Pro Circuit T-4 complete exhaust, and put a some other little stuff. Any help would be greatly appreciated ! I:I

yea there loads of fun, my cousin has one its a great trail bike but if you wanna race your gonna be in the back of the pack.easy mainteince and if you have a small friend you can two people on the bike. if you don't mind me asking how much are they looking for it? good luck

I have riden a ttr 225. Good for trails, but if your gonna do much jumping they kinda suck. Fun trail bike, but i prefer my the YZ's.

i want the four stroke though, and ive had four strokes before and never had problems. you just have to keep them in good condition.

if u get a ttr u prob wont have problems...thast what i learned on and laid it down alot and flip it once and it still ran strong

I had a tt-r 225 and I sold It to get my blaster. The tt-r's are as reliable as it gets they are easy on gas. They only have so so power but great torque the only reason I got rid of mine is because it rode me more than I rode it. But really the only down fall (other than only having 2 wheels) and Im not sure if it even applies to the 125 but the 225 is about the heaviest dirt bike ever made so if your a small guy its kinda hard to throw it around. and if you stink on 2 wheels like me you get tired after picking it up all day but good luck.

the 125 is heavy but as long as ur not 10 u should be able to handle it

yeah the ttr 125 is heavy as f*ck, kind of slow i smoke my friend on my yz all the time lol. but theyre good bikes just to mess around on. he beats the living sh*t out of his and the only thing he ever does is change the tire and put gas in it lmao

hahaha yeah. but the 125 (4 poke) is a rough area for dirtbikes, unless your gonna pimp the sh*t out of it, i dont reccomend getting it.
