So I bought my blaster from a guy, who got it from a guy who converted the rear brake to hydro, only thing is, no one seems to know what in the hell the brakes are off of, and I cant figure it out (it doesn't look like blaster, banshee, warrior, or raptor parts), I need to get a bracket for it, and also The brake pads are worn oddly from sitting weirdly, so I was going to replace them

THANKS!

i have the same problem ur gonna have to find some numbers on it or brand name and call the company and find them pads

I see no numbers, except for the master cylinder, and ive been trying to figure it out since I got it, the closest thing ive came up with is they are off a yz series dirt bike, but they are different, ive been thinking of getting a blaster one, and using the master cylinder that is on there

thats a good idea but wat im gonna do is just take it up to a shop and tell em to change the rear pads let them find wat pads they r and then just ask them wat type they were when they get done

It's a front caliper on the rear. Nissin peddled that same caliper design for every Jap brand quad out there. My kawasaki utility quad has the same caliper on it. If you remove the pad is it about 1.5" wide x 2" tall with pad material 1.5" x 1.5" with two holes at the top of the backer plate for the caliper pins to slide through?

You can rework the caliper bracket to get it to sit straight but it uses the same pads as the 03+ rear hydro blaster caliper. The calipers look different because the factory 03+ caliper is setup for a parking brake and that one's not.

You could purchase an 03+ carrier and brake caliper and use the master cylinder where it's at. You could also try to get one of Awk's GSXR brackets and put a GSXR caliper on there. The master cylinder mounting doesn't look too bad and the pedal is working, right? The only thing I don't like about the master cylinder is where the fluid cup is located, I would weld a bracket to the frame under the plastic, not mount it to the plastic itself...
