no room in my garage so my blast has got to go outside for the winter. I decided to put it under the deck so it wont be full of snow but around here we get below zero temperatures for months. just wondering what everyone does before they put their wheelers away?

Yah draind the gas tank and carb.

spray it down with WD40. prevent rusting.

plug the exhaust.

Remove the airfilter and cover the opening.

If you can try to get the wheels off the ground...

Cover it with a tarp.

If you run the oil injection still drain the tank.

Well thats about all I can think about.....

OH YAH LOCK IT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes +1

Drain all the liquids, Oh and seal up your exhaust little rodent wil love to live there for a wile

also spray down the chain and any exposed seals (shifter seal, axle seal )to prvent dry rotting......but fioz600 pretty much got it all

if theres no room in your garage.....you could always drain the fluids and plug up all the possible rodent hibernation holes, and hang it up above from the raftors. remember that if theres no gas to leak out you can put these quads upside down if you want

I thought about storing my old KX125 hung in the corner of my living room of my first apartment. with big ass hooks But didnt think It would hold and the wife wasnt to cool on the idea LOL

build a box out of wood and put it in there and seal her up tight.....i would think you can make room to even stand it on the grab bar in the garage....that might take up 2 ft by 4 ft

perfect excuse to take it all apart , and put it back together , but if not on the list of to do's ..... ride it in the yard everyday and do broady's in the neighbors flower beds , and if not practical ..... do what was already mentioned. I like the Quad Shack Idea , bone dry and pretty much air tight , no bugs , thugs or hairy critters
