will this work?

i'd consider putting 20's on it. you could always bump up pressure some for the track so you have a little less flex and still be better on the trails. i've heard of people running like 15psi in there tires on the track, but thats with better suspension to take more of the hit rather than the tires. and then drop it down to like 4psi on the trails so you get more traction

well i ride on track and trail and the trail only has a few big rocks that i have already made a way around.

its whatever you want bro i just wanted to warn yu of the things you loose/gain with 18s vs what you loose/gain with 20s for me20s are perfect for you who knows but you

i guess the only reason i went so big was cause i found the tires with itpss rims for only 75 bucks a rim and tire so i couldnt turn that down. my orignal plan was 22 in back and 23s in front

i had to put 3inch spacers on the back and 2 and 1/2 inch on the front and i had to put aftermarket shocks to raise it 2 inches

I run 22's on 10" rims and i love them, but if you run 22's or larger in the rear with 8'' rims you will get lots of sidewall flex...

just one question, where you ride? because with 18" you hit a rock or something hard, you take the chance of bending your rim. i know when i put 18s on for one ride at Big Rock, i bent both rims. will never run 18s on the trails again.

You'll bend a rim with any size tire if its really rocky, maybe not bead locks so easy but, I have rolled lips on my raptor and they are bent. Rocks = carnage for sure

to be honest, i rode at big rock for years, never had a hole in my tire or anything till i put 18s on the zilla. normally i have 20s holeshots on stock rims. but 18s holeshots on douglas rims.
btw stock steal rims are the best for trail rim imo.

I have to agree with ya!
