Well Im apart of another forum (cherokee forum) and just looking through the pics on that site, why do people lift their jeeps and trucks like 10 inches? then do like 44 inch tires? isn't that a bit too much? I think thats stupid..

I mean dont get me wrong I like lifts and bigger tires but maybe a 3 or 4 inch lift and 31 or 32's is good enough not 10 or 12 with 44's i think thats plain retarded. I guess it's just peoples opinions on stuff..i just hate it.

what are your opinions? me being from the south (north carolina) I see it every day and i think its stupid

I know someone around here with a Dodge Ram that's jacked pretty much 2 meters off the ground, literally, it's annoying to drive behind on the trails, and wait for him to get the hell out of the way when you want to go fast.

They tend to get stuck and break axles easily.
So yea, its a neh neh.

it's just a preferance of how you want your vehicle to look/function. just like the guy's that do the donks. my oppinion it's the dumbest thing ever, but hey, it dont get parked in my driveway, so im cool with it. same as someone putting Z rated tires @ $500.00 a piece on a Corvette when they know they will never drive the car fast enough to need that pricey tire on it.
it's all in what a person wants.

Well said, I couldn't agree more.

I like a nice lift and tires, and something like that would look kind of sweet but only for looks. Would never lift anything that high and get tires that big, would probably snap an axle with ease, maybe 5 miles to the gallon, and slow as hell just really no point except to look cool.
I plan on going with a 6 inch and 31s, maybe 32s if i get a pretty decent job to afford the gas

6 in lift with 31s would be stupid looking. Never knew why people put a lift and then have tires to small to fill the truck out.

My 03 dodge quad cab. 3in lift 32in toyo open country m/ts.

definitely, just like i can't believe when a clean g-body gets cut up to go circle track racing for a year, maybe two, when it could be going drag racing for many years :(
